Our Vision
We ASPIRE to be the best we can be
We learn from our EXPERIENCES
We CHALLENGE ourselves each day
We RESPECT and CELEBRATE our Gainsborough family
Dear Parent/Carer,
Welcome to Gainsborough Primary School, we are a “Good” school as recognised in our recent Ofsted inspection and we are on our way to outstanding.
Here at Gainsborough our focus is on ensuring that our children learn and grow in a safe, happy, nurturing and stimulating environment that challenges and engages them.
We are ambitious for our pupils and set high expectations for them so that no matter at what stage they join us, we ensure that they are well prepared for the next stage of their education and for later life.
Our school nurtures the whole child to develop their confidence and love of learning and our pupils are given a range of responsibilities, and play an important role in school life.
Our highly trained staff ensure that our children thrive and our children can also take part in a wide range of opportunities, clubs and visits to local places of interest as well as residential settings, which help bring the curriculum to life and make learning meaningful for them. We also offer a wide range of extra-curricular activities too.
Our parents and community are vital to the school’s and our pupils successes and work with us to make learning fun and organise our activities. We also have a Breakfast Club (from 7.30am) and Monday to Friday Club (until 6pm) to support working parents and those in full time education.
We know that your child will be happy in our school and look forward to working in partnership with you as they grow and develop along their educational journey.
Kind regards,
Mrs Christall
